tuning box on c250td

anyone fitted a tuning box to a c250td ? i keep looking at them but can't make my mind up. the main reason i'm thinking of 1 is to increase throttle response/ make the turbo cut in lower espec at lower speeds as its fine once you get it going. thanks shaun

I think these engines respond well to these tuning boxes, I think there was a thread on here a while ago where someone with a c25td was very pleased.

However it won't help your turbo 'cut in' any earlier as it needs sufficient exhaust pressure before it can start spooling up.

It's the only diesel I've ever seen with both a supercharger and a turbo! I'd love to see it on a dyno.

It's from the same crazy Finns who put a 450hp 606 into a 190 :shock:

Thats the advantage of living in a country where it is dark all day for 4 months of the year. 450 BHP thats almost the same as the AMG blown V8

I tell a lie, it was only 426hp. Although not sure if that's from a chassis dyno or an engine one. How does its 765nm of torque compare to an AMG?
