Tuning CLA 45 recommendations

Hi guys, so I’m pretty much a complete newb on the whole tuning scene. So go easy haha!

I’m wanting to tune my CLA 45 2018. Probably going up to stage 2.

I hear a lot about Litchfield in the tuning world in the UK, but wondering if anyone can chime in with their experiences and if they’re a good choice to go with? Or if I should even bother with the upgrades in the first place!?

Am I correct in thinking the better of the tuning companies will all come out with similar results on the dyno? I.e not much to separate them and it’s a personal choice with what they offer.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

GAD or MSL are generally the go to amongst the MB owners on here.

Good afternoon

Plenty of locked potential in these especially if your looking stage 2 which will eliminate a few of the primary restrictions on the vehicle in stock form being some intake work and some exhaust work!!!

The Dyno is a go to tool for testing thats correct but many Dynos depending on brand read very differently so sometimes the numbers it spits out should be taken with a pinch of salt ultimately road performance is king!

As for who can get what out of it it is down not always to the tuners technical prowess but to which tuner is willing to take the most risk for numbers!

So with all vehicles we tune all though the end goal is improved performance it should never be at the detriment of reliability.

I guess the remap is based on what you want. For me, I want extra power when I want it, but stock type performance in traffic. I don't want to have to hold back a "stallion" in day to day driving. GAD's remaap basicalliy gave me that (nearly 300hp and massive torque improvement). I only went there based on forum recommendations - but glad I did.
