Hi everyone,so,ive got a 2019 e400 3.0d coupe,it's just passed 46000 miles and has full MB service history, just this week it's been acting very strange, when I'm driving along suddenly the car won't boost,it just sits at 3k revs and also won't go above 5th gear, ive had it scanned using a snap on reader, and I'm getting fault PO299E5 boost pressure of turbo one is to low,if I stop the car and restart it,it drives fine for a while then does the same again, has anybody come across this problem? Surely the turbo can't be shot after 46k miles? Thanks for any replies

Smart + others :)
It’s not saying the turbo is shot, just the boost pressure is low and that could be anything from a gasket or pipe to actually being the turbo shot. Don’t worry till you get it checked.

Do you have Mobilio recovery still ? They will come out and diagnose the fault .

Very unlikely to be a turbo. Turbos don't fail but something connecting to the turbo is an underlying cause.
Turbos fail due to a catastrophic underlying cause.
Get it scanned - will be a leak elsewhere I bet.

Since you can drive it, take it to an Independent.
Beside saving loads o dosh, it seems you'll get better service these days.
