Turbo part number

How do I find out what turbo i have? I've taken off heat shield and can't see the plate with number on and can't find anything online, also one of the vain edges has snapped off will cause me any problems, I don't know where it has gone but car makes a high pitch noise now. Thanks

Should be relatively easy to identify from engine type/year.

Turbines spin at high speed and any imbalance will sooner or later lead to bearing failure if not worse.

On the intake side anything leaving the turbo and headed for the engine intakes will damage something. What and how badly is down to luck

A customer of mines turbo vanes all have damage on the edge for some reason but the car performs perfectly
