Turn indicator won't stop

I've had a look here (and on other forums) but no-one else has reported this.

I was turning left, indicators working fine, and some buffoon was driving on high beams so I flashed mine. Since then, my left indicator won't stop. It's OK when I turn right but when the arm returns to rest back come the left indicators. Can anyone help?

i have same on my 240 told it is indicator switch by merc engineer ordered one off ebay so ill see when fitted if not its module heres praying its the switch

Hi did this work or not ? I have the same fault on my CLK now

Had same problem ended up costing me 632.00 yes that much.
needed new electronic ignition the indicator is conected to this you can turn off with software but last a few hrs.
