Turning off the Travel Info function!

Somebody please help! I have recently bought a C220 CDI Esprit Estate with a cd/tuner head unit (MB factory fit), unfortunately it was not supplied with an operators manual and I cannot figure out how to turn off the TP function (travel info), this is driving me nuts as it keeps butting in every few minutes on my way to and from work (peak bulletin times!) normally when I am playing a cd or listening to a national radio station. I would desparately like to turn this off so any advice would be EXTREMELY gratefully received!

Depending upon the head unit you may have a button with a picture of a speaker with a line through it. Press and hold this to switch the TP function on and off.

I couldn't find the model number on the face plate of the unit, i will give you advice a go though i have tried pressing and holding every button i could find!
