TV Not working

Hi guys,
Have just joined this forum so am very new to this.I have just bought a 2003 Mercedes ML270 that come with an onboard TV.I am not able to get the TV to work, and when I attempt to view it am getting a message stating No TV!
I dont know what this means and presume that the car doesnt have the required software/hardware istalled to enable the TV to work.
So my question is how can I get the TV to work, how mch will it cost approximately, and where would I need to go to get this enabled, presume a main dealer?
Thank for an advice you can offer, and I look forward to any help/advice offered.
