"Tweet Tweet" noise

Hi all, my 1975 350SL has started making funny noises from the front wheels after about 15 minutes driving... sort of a continuous tweet tweet noise that stops only whilst my foot is on the brake pedal. I heard suggestion that it may be something to do with a spring that has lost its springiness? Can anybody enlighten me further? Thanks!

sounds like you have either something trapped in the pads or the disc is warped , either way id suggest inspection of the discs and pads and possible replacement , my gut instinct says you need new discs and pads.

They are breakers, i don,t think i would want replace my discs and pads with second hand items.

Bought mine from them. Quick delivery and far cheaper than the dealers. Plus you have peace of mind that they are original spec. I've heard of some aftermarket pads being noisy. Just don't forget to clean off the protective coating from any discs you buy.

they are on the web. Got the bits for my 85 SL ok, except I got the master cylinder from Eurocarparts as they had on ein stock rather than a few days wait with BI.
