twin bonnet catches on s600

Only one of them works ie I can't open it . I've tried pulling on the cable with a mole wrench , how do I get access to the underside of the ( LHS) catch ? Through the wheel arch ?

try pushing down on the bonnet as you pull the cable - sometimes that releases it (you need two people obv..)
