I just taken delivery of a 67 plate GLC 250d to replace my wife’s A180 and my E220 coupe. I’ve connected both phones to car system but it connects whatever phone is there first. This might not be the person who is driving. Question is can you manually toggle between the phones to choose the one you want through car system.

We have the same in our SLK, if you go into the phone menu you can then select which phone you want connected. It should come up with both phones, scroll down or up and press ok.

Thanks I’ll have a look later.
Lots of new stuff I didn’t have on previous cars. Park pilot. 360 camera.

Park Pilot is interesting. Have used it in play a couple of times but generally it’s quicker to do it the old way. Like you though, I do have the 360° camera system which is excellent.

Does the GLC 250d have the MBUX system? If it does you can have both phones connected and active at once. If I remember correctly you can set which is phone 1 and phone 2 in your profile. It's then called up when you select your profile along with your seat position etc.

No, not on a 2017 car. I’m not sure even the 2020 facelift has it.

I’m sorry I have no idea what the MBUX system is. I know it has farming map pilot not like my old one with comand. However both phones are connected I just highlight the one I want as main phone depending on if my wife is driving or me.

What you trying to do ?
I did a tutorial exercise on my linguatronic on my last car to get voice control used to your individual voice. Handy when you’re Scottish and have an accent the car doesn’t recognise.
it’s like the comedy sketch when two Scottish guys are in a voice activated lift trying to get to floor eleven.

Can’t say I’ve seen that on my GLC , I know it’s adaptive and learns your voice the more you use it

I just think of what Linguatronic must make of true Wiganer ... I only live 25 miles away & they might as well speak a different language! :D:D

Linguatronic only works with Comand. I think you can use voice control with Garmin but that’s only for SatNav.

Hi Madtutle3
I think by what I have been reading this voice control only operates on Garmin Map pilot. It doesn’t work on telephone etc. Bit of a backward step I think.
I did use the voice control on my last car for calling home etc.
Garmin is a backward step so I paid extra to have a Comand on mine (Premium Plus which did give me Burmester sound as well :))

I would rather have had that instead of the dodgy parking pilot. Lol
