Tyre pressure sensor missing message

Hi All,

Message popped up saying car can't see one of my tyre pressure sensor's. If I buy replacement do they need coding to car?

On my 2012 Viano the dealer had to swap one before I bought it and he said a tyre centre fitted a replacement and it just worked.

How old is the car? The batteries don't last forever and if one has gone, the others may not last much longer either?

It's 2014 didn't know they had batteries! Can they be changed

I suspect they're sealed units, that's why you need to replace the complete sensor.

There around £70 for a genuine sensor you also need the external bolt to fix it to the wheel which isn’t inclu with the kit for some reason

One is bolted in, the other is pulled through like a normal tyre valve looking at the listing

They may be cheaper online but once you pay postage and import duty there isn’t a massive difference, personally I’d rather put OEM on mine and know it’s the right part and it will communicate with the computer
