Just looking for info. Ive got a 2013 e350 convertible.
Does the tyre pressure system not show the actual pressures? I thought it would.

The only option i have on the menu is to reset the system.

Depends on the age and options. Older systems without pressure monitoring valve stems utilised the speed signal from the ABS sensors. They note a speed difference due to a deflating tyre and pop up a warning so no pressure information.

As bobcat says. This is actually good as you don't have to worry about TPMS valve stems etc.
I bought a Snooper TP1400 system. 4 X valve caps with sender. Readout unit for cigar / 12v outlet. Works really well.

Isn't it just down to which options were ticked when new rather than the age of the vehicle?
I can personally live without £100 (?) per corner pressure/temp sensors ;)

No, my 2016 E220 didn’t have tpms valves but still had pressure reading

I paid £60 and there's some on eBay for £79 for the system.
They are very accurate. I keep unit plugged in to rear passenger 12v.
As I do a fair mileage per year I like to keep pressures spot on to avoid uneven tyre wear. It's personal preference though.
You can set the upper and lower pressure alarms yourself so can give a very early warning of issues.

but OP was referring to factory ;)
He was. And I agreed. My 2014 AMG also has only wheel speed monitoring and no TPMS valves ( I only found out when I put new tyres on!) and not TPMS as such. So bought Snooper as an add on.
