Driving home tonight the tyre pressure warning on the dash alerted me zero pressure in nearside rear tyre - change tyre.

I stopped the car and inspected the tyre but it seems to be fully inflated and no puncture was evident. I have run flat tyres, so no spare. Could this be a sensor fault?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Could be a sensor but have you actually checked the pressure because run-flats, by their very nature, don’t go flat (until you ruin them by going too far with zero pressure).

Thanks, Steve. Will check the pressure once it's light. I've not had run flats before so not that familiar with how they actually work.

Very stiff sidewalls is what they use to keep you mobile.

Did you drive far with it flat , I had a run flat repaired couple of yrs ago after quite a long run and it was fine for ages. although.
Can Run Flat tyres be repaired?
In line with most leading tyre retailers, National Tyres will not repair a run flat tyre following a puncture. Most manufacturers advise against repairing run flat tyres. If the deflated tyre has been driven on, it could have compromised its strength, and it is impossible for a fitter to know if the tyre was driven on for longer/faster than recommended after a puncture. For a brand specific answer you can contact the manufacturers below, but generally it will be hard to find a retailer who will be willing to repair a run flat tyre.

I had driven for less than a minute when the warning light came on and continued for a further 3 minutes (0.5 miles) before I parked.

Run fiats are supposed to be good for up to 50 miles to get you home so you may be OK. See what the repairer says.

Yes, they’ll get you home but not that likely to be repairable due to sidewalk damage from driving on it flat.
