Sinse my car came with every option, that included tyre presure monitoring.
Some one had fitted metal dust caps( warns you in the handbook, not to) and they have all corroded onto the valves, the first one I tried to get off broke the valve, so I split the others to get them off.
Of all of the options that I can think of, it is one that I could do without. does anyone else out there have this option. Do I spend a few £k on one new one or should I disable it, I am sending the wheels away shortly to be refurbished. The senders are built into the valve (inside the rim)

i dont.

but a feminine friend of mine bought a set of metal dust caps from hellfrauds for her Golf. her tyres started losing pessure and the wheelie man said it was the dust cap corroding the valve. as shes a bird they changed them for free, so that involved taking the tyres off, and the wheels, and new valves fitting and the whole lot put back on.

all for free.

am thinking about shaving my legs!!
