Tyres - C220 - recommendations?

I remember a long time ago reading about tyres affecting handling badly on the C220 - and mine does have a tendancy to wander!

However, I need new front tyres (clearly I don't want to pay huge amounts, but happy to pay for safety and comfort!)

I can't find the original thread......so is there any great advice out there?

Hi Johnny,

When I moved to Eagle F1's in my 220 Coupe, the handling was transformed.

when you've decided on a make, check these out for prices - quite keen. If they're 195/65 Vs, try
http://www.blackcircles.com - currently quoting from £48 for a Firestone to -£74 for a Yokohama per tyre,
with Dunlops/Michelins/Pirellis between the two points.
I'd start by what they fitted as standard ? But pick a known name, needless to say!!

Thanks, Chaps, I will let you know. The local tyre specialist says he can do mine for £53 each....I wonder what make they are
