I've got to replace all 4 road tyres - currently I've got Goodyear NCT 5's
Which tyres would members recommend offering both low noise, grip and high mileage. I currently drive 2000 miles a week mainly dual carriageways and motorways

Michelin Premecy tyres work well for me....get good wear rates and are pretty quiet.

Your making that old girl of yours work for her living!!!

Where are you in the Country as there are some discount tyre retailers near me that sell branded tyres for roughly half the price of the normal tyre retailers.

I live in Worcester but work in Reading (hence the high mileage) and the old girl keeps on going - but she was bought for that reason

Just down the road in Bracknell is a discount tyre firm who sell all the well known brands at roughly 30-50% off compaired to the major tyre chains.

Depending on what deals they have going at the time, they will be able to do certain brands at cheaper prices than normal.

If you just tell them that you want a top brand and then give them the tyre size, they will then tell you what brand they can do at the best price.

I'll be interested to see how you find the prices.

A friend of mine just had all four tyres changed and had Dunlops put on for roughly £240 all in....they were 205/16's
