What Size Tyre Should I Have On My Wheels They Are 16 Inch And I Have 55 Tyre On C200 1996 Is That Right I Think They Are To Big?

If you have the owner's handbook,it should give the correct tyre/wheel size

Dan , think I know where you're coming from. According to the Kwick-fit site, the 96 C200 wears 195/65 15s, and the portrline has 205/60 15s. If you have 16s, looks like these were an optional upgrade. What wheels have you got (standard oir aftermarket) and what tyres (ie width?) are you on the the moment?

they are mercedes alloys but not orriganal not sure what type either. i have dunlop sports the is 215/55/16 they might be right. The only reason i ask is becuase my speedo is out i know there not accurate anyway but i think its quite along way off and im getting some strange sounds from rear diff i think thats were its from anyway. Imagine driving on the rumble strip down side of motorway but not as loud and with no vibration.
