Unable to take out of park

I have an intermittent fault on my 2012 E350 27,000 miles

Every now and then I'm not able to take the car out of park? could be months between issues

If I open and close all doors and boot a couple of times and restart car the fault clears itself and may not come back for months. I'm starting to use the car more often now so due to use the fault could be more often going forward

My mechanic says the ECU shows shut errors on all doors so something is triggering them to occur which is telling the brain door open so don't select gear

Anyone had this issue or have any idea what it could be

Last resort will be to book in with Mercedes main dealer but really want to avoid that if possible
