Mine has taken a walk.

I'm also thinking of waxoyling underneath anyone have any experience of doing this or similar type protection products. Is it better to get it done professionally ? Any help appeciated as I want to try and preseve my car long as possible.
Car is reasonably rust free and I want to keep it that way.

I would always prefer to waxoil myself. Hire or get a high presure washer with a right angled lance. Though I have a complete spray plant that I use, you can do a good job with the Waxoil hand pump, if you warm it up to at least 20c it flows like water, take the door cards off and do the insides of the doors. when using near the brakes, just cover them with a cloth. Do a bit each week end, total cast £25 .Waxoil does not harm rubber, it will help to make the car quieter on the suspension front.

The official name for it (round here, anyway) is a "Sh1t Shield". You buy them from a dealer. About £60
