Unleaded - additive needed or not

My owners handbook for my 1985 500 SEL takls about premium petrol . Can I run the car on unleaded or do I need additives?.
Any experience appreciated.

Hi

Loads of stuff in the archives of this forum. Just run it on unleaded (you have no choice but to). Put additives if you feel you have to.
