unlit temp sender

the outside temperature guage on my 92 300 sl is no longer back lit the lamp on the printed circuit board appears to be soldered on does any one know if this can be replaced or not ? or could this be a led thanks

Its a small bulb,you can get one from MB. It is a quarter turn fit.
