Well, some decent miles under their belt now.

Can't say I've noticed any noise difference over the Conti predecessors.

Perhaps a shade quieter on nice, smooth tarmac; perhaps a shade noisier on older, slightly cracked surfaces. Very subjective, and not sufficient to concern me! Ride is possibly a little better but as said previously, deep tread (and being new) probably helps here.

Handling - wise - well, only been dry so far and can't say I've noticed any of the vagueness reported by some owners on Tyre Reviews and other sites.

On my favourite bit of twisty dual carriageway this week, it seemed fairly planted, turned in fine, etc.

Need some rain now... well, perhaps not right now as car is fairly clean!

Oh, yes... sorry.

Don't know about their grip in the wet, or their ability to swim... but they ate a Nissan Squashedcow and an Audi A6 today... does that help??? :)

Several hundred miles covered this week, including fairly heavy rain.

Tyres certainly seem secure, front end feels quite pointy on fast, sweeping bends, and also on some of the twistier stuff. Seem to run quite quietly too, definitely so on the smoother stuff. Certainly no reasons not to get them yet!

Not sure I'd go for the RS3 on the back of a C63 though - will give them a little longer to see how things develop.

The Goodyears are doing fine on the back though, so suspect it'll be Goodyear all round at next changeover.

The RS3's had an amazing grip on a friends e46 m3, don't know if this was down to the tyre or the LSD... but would be interesting to see how these perform on the rear of MB...

They are priced well, so that test may still happen, although not checked to see if they're available in the right size for the rears on mine... Will check a little later on.

Certainly on the front I've no cause for complaint yet.

Don't seem to be available in my size - 255/30R19.

Have however found Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta... :)

I see the Nexen N8000 seems to get good reviews too... And for £93 each.

I don't think the Nexen would be suitable on a 63. Not in comparison to the grip level you would get from other tyres.

Don't get me wrong they're a decent tyre by all accounts. But not when trying to transfer all those horses you have into forward motion!

Splendid, fiery burn-outs at every traffic light!

I'm thinking the heat will dry the road and hence improve grip! :)

I've yet to get that enthusiastic... Had plans for the rear Contis as they got towards end of life, but alas...

I can't seem to tell - do they have a rim protector or not?

There is a little rim protection there, yes. Certainly when cleaning the alloys and sidewalls, I either have to use a brush for that bit, or the corner of a sponge to get in there.

Same when applying tyre dressing, need to use the corner of a sponge.

Cool thanks for the info, would be great if you could take a close up photo :D

I'm currently thinking about my next change, currently on Michelin PS3 & am looking at Michelin PS4 or Uniroyal RS3. Obviously the Uniroyals are much better priced.
