Perhaps if Id been there for it, it would have driven, but no, the unreliable piece of tin snip just daint go anywhere.

Anyway, after giving it a lecture, it started first time! Damn unreliable Mercedes if you ask me!

Ive come all over in Karaoke.. 'I cant live.... if living is without her..er, Cant live, I cant live anymore'... simon and garfunkel (showing my age)!!!

At 191,000 miles, she's going strong, treat her like a lady, she might go the distance. I was in a 37 year old 280 Mercedes last week, great car, still going strong, had a 60's radio in it, just like the one in Christine, the movie! Now thats a car, not these modern S320cdi crap cars that some of the salesman around here own

Nice to see a lady on the forum though, too much testosterone, too much arguing, too much fighting, too much disagreement (well, who wouldnt, given Hawk22000!!!) bring a bit of oestrogen to calm the forum down.

Get to drive my gal, 1000 miles next week. 6 years old, 59.7k, 130mph :D

The more you have the more to go wrong. there are at least 100 cars sold everyday, and we get a few a week. If I were to ask the 10 nearest owners to me for there veiws with their new MB they would and do say never had any trouble.

No he can't he first has to strengthen the foundations otherwise they will collapse with the increased weight :)

true, it weighs 1980kgs and only has 425bhp. and even with its 20inch wheels it wont clear the 8 inch drop.

10 bags of blocks arrived today, plus 6 bags of sand and some other stuff they put in between the blocks. since those pictures were taken around 8 tonnes of hardcore has been laid and some of that membrane stuff that prevents weeds etc.

the man geezer in charge tells me they will be round tommorrow with one of them roller things to press it all down and that they should have the drive to the garage done by tommorow evening! I doubt it! it looks far too much.

And washing machine packed in yesterday!

they did away with SBC and ABC for this one. plus some sound insulation, the type and level of trim, the folding roof and various other bits i should think.

And the sat nav is not as good as Comand. it is not as easy to use nor as intuitive, it does work however. the speed control is only cruise, it has not speed limit device altho its the same system.
