unstable rear 230ce

my w123 230ce over steers on sharp right hand bends , it seems to tip into bend from rear left side then lets go in a big way with no warning!very bad in the wet
all shocks were changed 3 months ago ..this problem has only developed in the last few weeks.drives straight otherwise.
rear anti roll bar & bushes looks ok.
Fast eddie is now slow eddie.

Are there any unusual signs of wear on the rear tyres? I used to have an Audi that had a similar problem to yours - turned out to be thre rear wheel alignment.

If you ran your hand over the tyre there was a pronounced 'step' on the tyre where it has been wearing unevenly. I took it in and got it 4 wheel aligned - made all the difference.

hi have a look at the rear pulling struts. jack up rear of car & check for diagonal play on road wheels. quite a common problem on older 124,s
