Not strictly a Mercedes question, however, my wifes Honda Civic (2001) has not had a/c working for 2 years due to a condensor failure. A combination of setting up our own business and the terrible weather last summer meant that we didn't get round to repairing it - Now that summer is comming I am considering getting the work done again, however, since it has not been used for over 2 years, is it worth getting it done - I am worried that all of the other seals on the system will be so perished that there is no way it will work again.

Thanks

Matt

I would pass on it Matt i think, moisture will be in the system and seals no longer tight, is it worth it

Whats a 2001 Honda Civic worth? Although an independent A/C specialist would be able to repair it more cheply than a dealer would, I would think that it would possibly be better to buy a newer Civic with working aircon.
