Update on ML320 excessive idle when cold

Hi All,

With the recent changeable weather, I can report that consistently on days when the temp is below 10 degrees celcius, the ML idles at 1400rpm until warm, and behaves faultlessly, ie idles at 700 rpm when outside air temp is warmer. Battery, throttle pedal unit and ECU all changed by MB under warranty. Hope this helps the experts out there.

I wonder if there's an air leak somewhere on the inlet side, although that would result in a lower rpm would it not...

I have been told that the idling problem has previously occurred on some '05 and '06 ML's, but Mercedes have not found a fix yet. However, no-one is able to verify this for me. It's driving me crazy........!!:Oops:
