Urgent headlight problem

Found the socket so panic over


Hi,

Has anybody got a picture of the inside of a left hand headlight on an S211 e class with Xenon lights.

I am going over to France tomorrow so I wanted to switch the beam to flat. However, I now have a headlight that doesn't work at all and 3 wires in to a connector which has come unplugged while I was groping around blindly.

I need to have some idea of where it might have pulled off from.

Urgent as I need to do this tonight

Any help appreciated

 

Not great and the RH lamp, but hope this helps. Try using a mirror and some bright lighting.

Hi guys,

Thanks to both of you for the quick reply.

A bright light helped to see a bit of the inside and then by feeling for a slot the size of the connector I managed to get it plugged in and the light is now fine. With a V8 engine in the way there is no room to get light and vision in to the hole.

I was certainly sweating for a while because it was already dark so even to take it to a local indy would have been a bit dodgy.

Now just looking forward to a nice lunch in France and a bootful of wine on the way back
