Urgent - How can I open the driver side door ??

I took the battery out from the key fob to get new batteries. About 10 hours later, I put new batteries back into the compartment but using that key, I could not open the door. Then I tried the other key fob too and the same thing, door was still locked. I noticed that the immobiliser did not flash as usual in green when I open the door, no sign of receiving any signal at all from the key !

I tried to use both of the key fob to open the door manually but seems that the lock was locked by something inside the car ! I lost my 3rd key a long time ago and the 2 key fob is the only thing I have now.

The key fob can open the boot easily !

Any advises and suggestions at all ????

what car is it?
On most, the passenger door should have a blanking plug over a keyhole so you can get in using the metal key.

it is a 1997 W202 C230 K and I don't have the Master Key (?) , all I have now 2 key fob with 1 on / off button. Tried to open the driver's side door with the key fob but fail to do that. I am afraid that I will break the plastic case if I turn the key any further !

My problem is now solved !

The caused is that I took the batteries out for too long from the key fob then memory lost after i put new battery in, when I tried to open the door, it is just immobilized. But I am not sure why the second key didn't work either ??

The driver's side door can be open manually by the key fob but unfortunately, there is something wrong in the lock cylinder and I can't open the door manually.

I fully charged the car 12 V Battery too just to make sure that this is not the source of the problem but again failed.

Today I have no choice but have a Hi Fi and alarm specialists to open up the door for me. What they did is connecting 2 of the pins in the vacuum pump unit ( PSE ) and the door is opened ! They drove the car to their workshop and just to make sure that everything is fine and finally, they just synchronized the 2 key fob for me and the job is done !

Hope this piece of info can help some members when they are in the same situation as I did !
