Unfortunately you do not say where your located, but I can suggest a supplier of the part that you want, second hand, and that is Kevin James of Stuttgart Garage, Pontypridd, South Wales, Tel; 01443 401838. He is an independant Mercedes Garage with a very good reputation. I know that he is breaking some 140's at the moment, worth a call ??

As Malcolm says - why not get yours repaired?. Used parts are all very well but you never know what gremlins are lurking in the replacement so I always prefer a repair/recon of my own. At least you know you're getting a good as new unit and cost wise it may even be cheaper. Google ECU repair and make a few calls.

It always amazes me how many people throw away expensive ECUs when all they actually need is a 10p component or a joint re-soldered. It also amazes me that many dealers and garages don't suggest it as a matter of course.
