Question - if I need a Poly V-Belt (for a 2001 T210 E320CDI) is this the same as a "RIBBED BELT-6PK 2271" on the GSF site. It's just under £13, so assuming I won't get pillaged, am I not better off getting a MB part if it's only a couple of quid more (assuming that is the case).

A nother dumb question from me, but as usual all any any help appreciated.

If you get the part from mercedes by giving your VIN to the parts person, you are guaranteed the correct part for your spec of car.

With anyone else it is "pot luck". Why waste your time on something so trivial ??????????

quite right.
for such a minor price difference I'd go for the merc part every time
