are there any services that provide *.pdf copies of user manuals for any type of mercedes benz vehicles? i'm looking one for my used yr 2000 C class C200 that i just bought. tq

Hi,just purchased owners manual from stealer,for 1989 300te :? Now the best bit £2.50 +PLUS THE CHANCELLORS BIT,I bought two
It lists 300 TD,but not 300D,so just get yourself down the local.

PS, THE more modern ones (with the seperate booklets in a ring binder) are more expensive (a tenner or so (cannot remember, one guy got one on a thread a few weeks ago))

If you are looking for an electronic manual that is wholly or exclusively in .PDF format then I have yet to encounter one. If they exist they will be several tens of megabytes in size for a Haynes-size manual. If they can be downloaded then you'll need broadband.

Electronic manuals of the type found on eBay do use .PDF file formats, among others. For example, they include short movie clips (.MOV) to illustrate issues that cannot readily be explained in narrative form. Nice touch.

Had I read pascal's reply sooner I would have inquired about MB's own .PDF files when I visited my dealer yesterday. You would think though that if you can buy them at the dealers you should be able to order/download them centrally at an MB website.

I'm not sure whether Shad is lookig for a Owners Manual (Users Manual/Owners Handbook) or an actual 'Workshop Manual'.

Merecedes-Benz Cheltenham and Gloucester have a manual for £7.50 + VAT - I'm amazed it's so cheap and only wish the servicing was as well .....

I bought an owners manual for my W124 about 6 years ago from MB. It was about £4 then I think. Say about £6 now??

Seems they have gone down in price for the W124...£2.50 + Vat:smile: . That for the one book type.

Not sure if its a ring binder version for the 2000 C-Class. Even if it is, £7.50 is cheap.
