Using a USB drive on W218 CLS

Hi,

Please can someone kindly tell me what to buy, I will like to use a USB stick on my 2015 CLS. I have bought some stuff before and it didn't fit, must have been for a different year of CLS. I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

USB sticks are a worldwide format, so is the slot it fits . If a USB stick didn't fit a previous mb it wasn't a USB connection.

Might be a problem with data format. My previous 2010 Mercedes didn't like Apple files but my current 2018 one does.

My E350CDI 2011 version came with 3 interchangeable connectors, one being a USB connector.
Never had any problems playing downloaded music on it.
