I have always had BMW's and had many including the 728i, 735i, 525d, 525TDS and various other 3 series....To be honest love the way the beamers drive.
But...
This is my second merc, bought it after owning a 22CE - What a beautiful car. Drives really well beautiful lines. A real ' dont make em like that anymore' kinda car. Mind you the rust was pretty horrific on the wings.
Anyway's my daily runner is now a 1998 C250TD - its got its fair share of rust bubbling under the paint work but I am going to try and sort that. So impressed with the drive, the engine and the gearbox. Must admit, its slow to take off but once on the move it can really push with some toque.
It does have some poor points too but for now, Hello to the MBZ community. i'm sure i will end up asking lots of questions on the forums.
By the way i'm in North East London, C250 TD with 124K = 3 owners in blue
