V Class - Cill Trim

Does anyone know where I can obtain cill covers for my V Class.? They are becoming badly scratched.

I would gladly purchase one from Merc. however, I am told that they do not list it as available!

If it came from the factory with it on. Then its available. You just have to get a parts man with a bit of common sense. I know its in short supply. But there must be one out there.

They might have been an accessory, alternatively they might have been aftermarket - have you owned the car from new?

If you pull the old ones off they will have part numbers on the back.  Read them off to the parts people and see what they come up with.

Sorry I obviously did not explain my requirements clearly first time. The car has painted cills which are becoming badly scratched, it is these that I want to fit some protective covers to.

There is a firm in Boston, Lincs, which manufactures these trims. I can't for the life of me remember their name or find an advert (they used to advertise in MaxPower apparently...).

I'll take a look and let you know.
