V class transmission problem 'help please'

Hello

I own a V230 auto - Driving along fine suddenly the transmission light jumps on and the vclass starts driving terrible stuggling to hold gears and the engine rpm goes all over the place. manage just about to get it home. Transmission oil level looks ok maybe a little low but not gone - any ideas.

Been driving fine with no signs of trouble.

Hi Kevin, we do not have many V class owners here, it might be much cheaper to take it to a good gear box specialist and much cheaper than from MB.
