What do u do when u take your CLK in for crash repair and itcomes out with scratches (no apology) that werent there b4?

Dealership rudely tried to say they were there b4 even after checkin the delivery inspection sheet that said the fine (apart from the crashed area)
Well i demended it was fixed and requested a courtesy car. However the courtesy car arrived after a 2 day delay - no apology.

The car then due for a service was sent in at the same time and finish time agreed but the car never appeared and when phoning the dealership no one in service was available to talk to me for 2 days despite a number of messages. Only calling HQ in Milton keynes solved the problem.

The car did finally arrive finished on my drive, however they had forgotten to put the model badge back onto the car. Then adding insult to injury they said the service was complimentary. I have a service contract with mercedes benz, i already get free servicing.

The service level was extremely poor, milton keynes HQ just said it was normal for that dealership-' there having problems'.

VinRaj - not surprised as this is more of a money making enterprise than a garage :x
I used them when the car was run on the company and found them very very expensive and unless you got lucky and had the vehicle worked on by a good tech you could easily end up with the apprentice and still charged top dollar (£80 p/hr +)
Little real knowledge in depth and general "fitters" attitude rather than the engineering skill which you might expect.
Big turnover of staff too.
I 'think' any staff complicit in additional costs due to damaging customer vehicle/error etc. gets hefty "fine" so denial not surprising.
Had couple of 'job done' situtions when clearly specific problem hadn't even been looked at.
keep up pressure and threaten publicity - only thing that works I'm afraid.
Goodl uck

I love that... ...when the head office agrees and confirms, you KNOW they're poor!

Surely I'll be alright ordering a new key from them? They can't get that wrong, can they? :?

VinRaj, if it makes you feel better, I for one won't have any work done there as a result of your post. (apart from getting the key!)

I only used that particular bodyshop and workshop because they are owned by Mercedes Benz itself. You would expect far better service. However i have to admit the workanmanship on the vehicle itself was excellent. they still cant fix the loose warning triangle securing thing though despite 2 attempts.
