V230 dash ..Help Please!

I have a V class 97 111 engined mercedes .When I attach the battery there is a continuous clicking noise from behind the dash..sounds a little like a relay..There is a red light on for the rear air suspension on the dash ,can anyone suggest why or what I can do to fix it

You really need it plugged in to check whats wrong with the suspension.
