I have a vacuum leak giving code p2279, the leak is quite loud and has put the car into limp mode and it's a struggle to get the car to move without stalling. I have attached pictures of the general location of the leak. Has anyone had a leak in a similar place?
View media item 3390View media item 3389View media item 3388The car will be going to the mb specialist but I'd rather do a temporary repair if I can find the leak to get it there than have to pay for the tow company to take it.

It’ll be the inlet manifold in that area, 2nd bolt in at bottom snaps resulting in a boost pressure leak.

Where do I need to look to check the manifold?

2nd bottom bolt is loose in manifold. It’s a captive bolt that normally snaps. Bit of a pain to see but a missing of oil is another clue.

Just an update, it's been to the merc specialist, they diagnosed it as a faulty pressure sensor, new sensor has been fitted and all seems to be ok now.

Just shows that some generic code readers lead you up the wrong path. :(

Still finding it hard to believe a faulty sensor would give you a leaking sound.??
