Vacuum Line Nipple Snap!! ( saucyyyyy )

Hi all

Today, whilst replacing fuel housing, I took the vacuum box off of my w204 2010 c250, it's the thin rubber pipe on the top, that goes back towards the wipers, it snapped. How or what do I need to replace it? The hose is OK, it's the small plastic bit that connects to the top of box

To replace you need a replacement part (as you call it - the small plastic bit that connects to the top of box). I would hazard a guess best bet is the dealership, tell them what you need and show them, they will go via the IPL and order you up the replacement.

Thanks folks, dealership has ordered new vacuum box for me, hopefully it comes with the new line, if not I'll just use a plastic elbow bend from somewhere....I'll update tomorrow if it does come included

You should have asked the dealer, they can get all parts (if availabale) and they usually show you on the IPL to make sure. Glad you are sorted and careful putting it all back together

Morning folks

Just to update as promised, the new vacuum reservoir does indeed come with the plastic nipple installed =) now hopefully once the coolant leak is fixed by way of new housing, the regen can complete and I can drive my car again!
