Vacuum pump overrun when boot opened

I recently had the 3 pipe connector on the vacuum pump problem. One pipe was broken off and the middle one had a fracture. This was causing the pump to over run and front nearside door to not lock.
I eventually got a connector, they are getting harder to source. It was thought to put the yellow tubes on, I had to use a soldering iron on cold to open them up a bit.
I now have everything working well, only problem is the boot still has over run. Mainly when I open the boot, it goes on for about 15 seconds, when this happens you cannot immediately close the boot, it can only be closed after the pump stops over run. I went along the white tube for the boot all the way and could not find any split or cracks.
Has anyone had anything similar?

It is on a 1998, C200, W202

Double check the lock itself is lubricated . And no leaks ,,loka as if pump is working overtime to unlock, and lock ..Good spray of WD40 will help .

I gave it a soaking with WD40 today and no difference, still the same.
I cannot remember, but if I connect DAS to it, would it tell me anything with the vacuum pump

Suspect leak in boot open close circuit if only over runs when boot circuit in use

I have noticed now, it happens when unlocking the car via remote or after driving and anti hijack locking enabled if any of the doors are opened, it then does this. This is going to be fun to go over
The main one though still seems to be the boot whenever that is opened.

You need a vacuum testing tool .
