vaneo misting up

hi does anybody know how to stop a vaneo from misting up its not got air con and as soon as it rains the car mists up so you cant see out of any window also is there a drain hole anywhere that might be blocked asto cause this.

This also happens on my wifes smart car

Try a new dust/pollon filter, may have moisture in it and will help airflow also.

Seriously.
Moisture in the air can't stick to clean glass but holds on tight to dirt and grease, making the job of the demister almost impossible. So even if it looks clean, give it a good scrub. And if you're ever tempted to wipe it with your hand, don't - once you do, it will mist up twice as badly (grease contamination from your hand).

Has the HVAC unit on the Vaneo got a recirculation button?

If yes make sure that it is turned off, if you have it on and do not have AC then you will never remove the moisture from the air trapped inside the cabin.

If no, then you needs to check the pollen filter as suggested above, if this doesn't cure it then it sounds like the body/cabin breathers may be blocked or stuck shut.

Has the car been stood around for a while? Moss can make these flaps stick shut. If I remember rightly they are behind the rear bumper, well they are on the A Class.

Failing that, you may have water entering the cabin, as the screen been replaced recently are he carpets wet or damp?
