I would almost certainly say it's from SA or Australia. They love sheepskin seat covers !
EDIT: Had SA switched to LHD by 85?

Can anyone tell me why some W123's have the twin round headlamps and others the the normal type??

This has bugged me for years ever since my dad had one exactly the same as the one for sale.

ive just asked the seller if it is a uk spec car..... lets see what the guy says.....
with regards to the headlamps, it depends on the make of headlamp, and what year the car is.....
BTW yank motors normally have different headlamps again......most are separate units in a frame

Can anybody tell me how can it have a tempomat being a manual?

Regarding the headlights, I think the US outlawed big glass lenses; I remember several European cars having round lights in the USA (Jag XJS, Rover SD1).

Isn't tempomatic automatic cabin temperature control?
