Owned since 2001 and purchased from a family friend.
There is no rust on my 190 and shes very well looked after- my pride and joy for years
Excellent Oil pressure. Mechanically in excellent condition.
Annual mileage is around 2000 or less, but oil changed just about every 1000 miles New leads and Plugs about six months ago. Gearbox oil change recently.
Always Garaged. "hard to find in this condition" is a very fair description.
Past Mots certs. Current Mot July 2013. Tax- 5 Months.
Lost count of numbers of times polished over the years.... Interior very good condition. Carpets are in very good condition.
New Front Wishbones purchased about 3000 miles ago, (about two years ago !!) at which time also had an uprated suspension kit professionally fitted, (suspension receipts included) handles nice and corners like its on rails. The suspension upgrades transform these cars. However i am 44 and NOT a boy racer.. and drive my car at around four tenths, as opposed to revving it. I am an advanced driver standard and just use the gears to slow down etc... probably why ive had to change the front and rear pads, once in over ten years.
Fitted clear front Indicators and side repeaters and Front Grill, for a more modern look (still have original side repeaters). De-Badged.
Front Mercedes pointed star removed didn't like at the bonnet star when driving and looking out across the bonnet! Again easily restored to standard- ten min job.
Detailed engine bay: Very clean and tidy. Fair to say that the engine bay can pass for a well looked after ten year old car.
Polished numerous times over the years, very regular polishes, Copper slipped the external brake parts etc, over the years for preventive maintainance....
Reason for sale- The low prices of the SLK and my very limited use (maybe two/three times a week, not used for a daily commute to work- I would like to fund an upgrade to topless motoring......
