Hi guys I’ve got a 2006 viano and getting error code 2515-001 component m16/9 throttle valve actuator faulty on a star diagnostic? Can anyone help me?

The only one I've had experience of is electrically operated. It may have gone open cct, or just be jammed.

But if you had a Star session to diagnose I'm surprised the tech couldn't provide more info, where, how much, how long a job.

Hi m80 well he said he used to work on viano/Vito awhile ago but he had a quick look and said sometimes there remote or on by the engine but he couldn’t find it. So I’ve been trying everywhere to find this throttle body on my 2006 2.2 viano but can’t find it. This is the fault

See I was thinking it might be the intake port shut off motor because it’s doing a similar thing

I'm not aware of the port motor, that's on the 642 engine.
The only time I have experience of the throttle body was on a Viano V6 and it was part of the intake pipework. A butterfly valve that regulated the air flow.

I still have my Vito 646 engine on the drive, pending its sale, if I get chance I'll have a look later.

Ok thanks. Well I think I have a throttle body actuator and it’s right at the bottom just after the inter cooler and it’s a square motor looking. To as when I took it off the valve it did nothing so I’m hoping that’s the problem.
