Viano front anti roll bar

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me with regards to my 2013 viano, the front anti roll bar bushes are in a bad state, I have purchased the whole anti roll bar as it is a bonded type but my question is 'how do you remove the old one'. We have had a good look and seems a tough one to do but was hoping someone on here has done one before and could tell me how it's done. Cheers

Have not removed mine but spent plenty of time in that part of the engine bay. Normally v easy; undo bolts at either end, then undo cradles over the bushes, removed the entire bar and then fir the new one.

With the wheels in the air & removed, and the undertay off, it might become more obvious.

Thanks for the reply, we have managed to replace the anti roll bar now but unfortunately there is no way of getting the bar out unless the sub frame is dropped to give space between body and car, we spoke to a mercedes specialist who were very helpful. We tried every way possible to manoeuvre the roll bar but the gap is too small and the bend in the roll bar hits the gear box so no way of twisting it unless subframe is dropped but need to be careful not to do it too much because of the steering rack and pipework. Why me3cedes couldn't of just made it simple like normal ARB bushes ill never no but its done and hopefully won't need changing again.

Hi, I've got to do this job on my 2012 vito that has bonded arb bushes and was wondering if you could go over your setup for doing this job? It all looks pretty straight forward until i discovered i need to lower the subframe to replace the sway bar. Like you i cant understand the reason for making something so simple a complicated task so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
