I got to the bottom of mine yesterday after a lot! replacing the engine mounts with no joy and even removing the gearbox and back plate to check timing and lanchester balancer shafts were in sync it turns out mine was the gearbox mount!! Had perished and gone hard thus making the engine mounts vibrate violently anyway might help someone
