Hello all,

E250 2015.

I think I can feel a vibration in the steering wheel when I am travelling at about 70MPH. The problem is trying to prove it. On a lot of roads you get vibration anyway. But on smooth roads while driving on the dual carriage way I believe I feel it every 3/4 seconds. If you were to look at the level of vibration on a graph with y axis amount of vib and x axis time I believe I would see that pattern... A spike every 3/4 seconds when travelling at about 70MPH... For sure, there would be a lot of noise in that graph due to vib you get driving anyway.

Anyway, I take the car to independant specialists. The guy have tested it out and feels that the vib is just normal behaviour but I am not convinced.

The vib is not massive! If you took your hands off the wheel you would not see the steering wheel shake. But I believe it to be there. I think he believes there is nothing wrong with the wheel balance either.

I had my car tested for codes and one came back. The one about the gear box where the guys should take it apart and clean it and put it back. No idea which code. Can get that if anyone needs it.

Has anyone experienced this or am I just paranoid?

Did they do a road test?
I would start with having the front 2 wheels balanced.
