Hello everyone. I have an issue with my 2013 Viano EXLB. On the motorway at approximately 60mph +, under light acceleration, the van vibrates. For example, if I’m travelling at say 65mph with light throttle pressed maintaining the speed, it vibrates, If you press the acceleration harder it stops completely, even if the speed isn’t increased much, the harder acceleration stops the vibration. If I coast at that speed, there is no vibration. It’s only under light acceleration.

The vibration feels as though it’s coming from the back. There is no steering wheel reverberation so can’t be the front.

I have had all 4 tyres recently balance and the alloys are 3 months old.

The prop shaft was replaced on 2020.

I’m at a real loss!!

Hi, I had a similar issue in the past and I think it was due to an axle, vibrating at certain rpms where it goes into the gearbox. It developed some play. But your car is different. Hope it could help

Could be any number of things from tyres, flat spotted alloy, Driveshaft or driveshaft carrier bearings . I take it the Viano is auto? if so we can rule out a bad DMF.
