Vibration when breaking in any speed. Disc's and pads changed 2 times and the Vibration still there.

Hello guys i hope you are good .















I have a Mercendes benz A class 2014 2.2 diesel, i feel a vibration on my seat when im breaking on high and low speeds is the same .

I have changed the disc's and pads 1st time ( it was ok for about one week) after that i had the vibration again . I took my car back where i changed the disc's and they said that the disc's where faulty so they change them for some better ones ( after a week the vibration started again ) .they said they don't know what is that .

I went then to Mercedes benz service in london . They don't know either.



Can someone help me ?

Hello and welcome, are the calliper pins “free” allowing the calliper to centre as you brake?

As above, if you are warping discs (easy to check with micrometer) then check for sticking caliper sliders etc.

If the discs are bit warped, then check for play on the front suspension, this will make brake vibes worse.

Test with a person sitting on the passenger seat. Does the passenger also feel any vibrations..??
Do you feel any vibrations on the brake pedal..?

Remove discs and check surfaces of hub are completely clean and the back of discs. Put back check again.

its important sliding pins are removed, cleaned (wire wheel) and lubed when brake work is done. Likewise mating faces need to wire brushed clean.
Lots os shoddy me hanics cutting corners.
