Hi All,

I’m getting vibrations through the floor of my E250 when braking from speed. Nothing through the steering wheel. Got a slight vibration through floor at motorway speeds but it’s much more pronounced when you brake?

Thinking it’s wheel balancing but wouldn’t that be more noticeable at cruising speeds rather than braking? Or warped discs.

Anyone had similar

Thanks

First course of action is cheapest first and get the wheels balanced and then suspect the brakes

Check the rear discs for excess heat maybe from a sticking caliper piston after a drive.
Are the rear discs being scrubbed clean of rust , check the inside of the disc with a finger to feel if it’s rusty .

Check prop shaft joints , they are unloaded with no power being put through them when braking so if they are worn it’s more noticable.
